Eng. Ariel Phiri

Eng. Ariel Henry Phiri is a qualified Aviation Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer, with more than 30 years’ experience. He has experience in Project Management, Information Technology Management, Aviation Management, Radio Maintenance Engineering, and IT Policy, Regulation and Management. He is a Certified Mini-MBA Strategic Project Management Professional (SPMP) and has an IT Business Manager Certification (ITBMC). Ariel holds a Master of Engineering in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, both from the University of Zambia. He also holds a Diploma in Aviation Electronics Engineering from Zambia Air Service Training Institute (ZASTI). He is an active member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), where he is Vice Chairperson of the Zambia Section. He is also a Fellow in the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ), where he serves as Interim Chairperson of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Section (EEES). Ariel is an avid farmer with interest in crop and poultry. He also volunteers in Information Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D) activities.
Mr Cosam Ngoma
Director Corporate Strategy and Planning
Mr Cosam Ngoma has over 15 years of combined professional experience in strategy, governance, audit and risk management. He invested the formative years of his career in audit and assurance with one of the big four audit firms. Cosam desires for a fast-paced, complex and demanding work environment that offers exceptional opportunities to understand and contribute to national economic development. With this burning desire, Cosam joined the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) where he subsequently served as Manager Risk & Assurance – a function he helped establish. Before his appointment as Director Corporate Strategy & Planning at Zambia Airports Corporation Limited, Cosam served as Director Strategy & Policy Research and Director Internal Audit & Risk at Zambia Development Agency.
Cosam also sits on the Audit & Risk Committees for the Ministry of Finance and is a member of the Board of the Institute of Risk Management Zambia. Previously, he served on Audit & Risk Committees of Higher Education Loans & Scholarships Board (HELSB), and Zambia Railways Limited; and the Strategy Committee at LuSE and Ad Hoc Strategy Development Committees at HELSB, NAPSA and ZDA.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy [BACC], Certified Internal Auditor [CIA], Certified Information Systems Auditor [CISA], Certification in Risk Management Assurance [CRMA], Association of Certified Chartered Accountants [ACCA], Certified Risk Analyst [CRA] and a Master of Business Administration [MBA]. He is a fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants, The Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants and Institute of Risk Management Zambia.
His main motivation for a corporate life is to develop credible and high-level energy leadership that delivers value for organisational and individual success.
Mrs. Shubayi Chatora Kalumba is a qualified Legal Practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in the field of law. She began her career working as an associate Legal Practitioner for a private law firm known as Lloyd Jones and Collins in Lusaka. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law from the University of Zambia. Having worked as Legal Counsel for Zambia Airports Corporation Limited for over seven (7) years, Mrs. Kalumba has experience in litigation as well as Corporate Governance matters. While serving as Legal Counsel for Zambia Airports Corporation Limited, she acted as Corporation Secretary at various intervals. Her off-duty activities include swimming, playing netball and gardening.
